The work of master artist Marta Elena Vélez, and particularly her series Los Supermanteles, created more than four decades ago, forms the starting point of this project. These pieces capture the spirit of experimentation in graphic arts in Colombia during the 1970s, when serigraphy and processes of reproduction enabled new ways of sharing and multiplying images.

From this body of work emerges the interest in repetition and seriality. Rather than understanding repetition as a merely formal device, the proposal approaches it as a structure of thought through which an image, gesture, or motif unfolds through variations and shifts.

In dialogue with this investigation, the stand presents works by Radenko Milak, Rodrigo Spinel, Claudia Hakim, Bilal Chahal, Astrid González, and Luis Luna, whose practices explore repetition through different registers: the archive, pictorial structure, material accumulation, the experience of time, symbolic restitution, and the reinterpretation of historical images.
